Welcome to The Camp
The Camp Entertainment Network LLC is the parent company to the subsidiary brands above. What each of these divisions has in common is that they are unique in the opportunities and solutions they offer aspiring talent, consumers, product manufactures and service providers.
The first place to start is by creating your own personal profile. Setting up an account is free and easy. Once you have a presence here in the network, you begin enjoying access to the music, films, fashion, services and more as a part of this Indie Nation Network awakening. This initial level of membership allows anyone and everyone to participate in a wide variety of ways that make the CAMP a fully immersive agency changing local, national and international markets for everyone in the community.
By paying $1.00 to join and a monthly membership fee, you upgrade to CAMP Plus where unknown talent can find themselves plugged into a network of consumers, studios, agents, national tours, goods and services. No longer flying solo, talent will have access to resources and community support that traditionally had been reserved for only those with labels deals, movie contracts, book deals etc. However as a CAMP Plus member, every performer, artist or entertainment related business owner can reap the support they give to others and experience the reality of being compensated for one’s efforts.
For the first time an artist can bulk sell their CD’s, DVD’s, books of poetry etc. directly to other CAMP and CAMP Plus members that have already agreed to buy the merchandise. The CAMP’S membership terms of services agreement (TOS) makes it possible for a starving artist, small business owners and others in the network to generate sales, and tour the country.
Being our own unique industry (within the traditional industries) eliminates the need for up and coming talent to beg or jump through hoops for a contract with mainstream music, film, print or booking institutions. Since many of the major labels, film studios, modeling agencies etc have been historically exploitative (more so than supportive) joining the CAMP alternative is a no brainer. Establishing CAMP affiliates in cities coast to coast will create chapters that support our live events when they are local, national and recently outside the US.
The Two Purchases a Month Agreement
As part of the CAMP’S TOS, each member agrees to make a minimum of two purchases a month (from other members) in order to support one another. These purchases can be for either goods or services and they can come from either the Pick of Week section, The Manager’s Special or general members‘ profile pages. It’s important to note that the minimum purchase amount for two items each month is $10.00 Check out the following example of how the purchase policy works:
Member Scorp Nightfire is going to make his two required purchases for the month of Jan.
Item # 1. Clayton Bloom’s promotional CD. $ 5.00
Item # 2. Skyler’s Book of Poetry $ 5.00
The CD was listed in the CAMP pick of the week section of the Depot
The book of Poetry was found from surfing the for sales items on members’ profiles.
These two purchases meet the minimum requirement of items presented in the CAMP TOS as mandatory and the minimum purchase amount.
The Manager’s Special is two items that have been selected by CAMP staff as auto selections sent to members automatically if they have not made selections from either the Pick of the Week, The Manager’s Special or general members’ profile merchandise.
The Pick Of The Week
Every week members are selected to have their products or services promoted on The Selections Of The Week Page. Members with merchandise or services on this page will sell them at a special wholesale rate to encourage other members to make their purchase quota from weekly selections on display.

In the event that members choose not to purchase goods or services from what’s offered in the Pick of the Week, they can buy what members are offering from their own profile pages. Buying from either the Pick of The Week, The Managers’ Special or from general profile pages applies to each members 2 purchases a month.
For far too long, up and coming talent has struggled to “make it” in the established entertainment industries. Be it music, film, modeling, stand up comedy etc. the common denominator is that indie talent has lacked the support crucial to making a living from their efforts. In addition to having little or no support, the majors have made it almost impossible to get any where without establishment approval. However the CAMP Entertainment Network represents community and contacts that make it possible for members to know the benefits of co-op financial and member for member support.
Why join, because you have something to offer and we feel that with other like minded members we can all help each other offer that something better as a community than we can alone. It’s time we all got paid and that reality could be just a membership away.
CAMP members have access to a variety of opportunities that make it possible to grow your brand and generate income. The following list contains these opportunities and how they work:
Members set their own pricing for item and service sales but discount both 30% when they are in the Pick of The Week section or offered as the Manager’s Special. Member’s also set their own payout amount that once reached from purchases, is issued the following week via bank transfer (ACH to US bank accounts only) paper check or Paypal.
- $2.00 for any CD’s and $3.00 of any DVD sales through the CAMP online
- 15% of merchandise sold by members not CD’s or DVD’s
- 25% for every MP3 download through the CAMP online
- 15% of all merchandise sales at live CAMP events
- 30% of all ticket sales at life CAMP events
- 10% of all non-entertainment goods and services used by CAMP members (Graph)
CAMP CHAPTERS COAST TO COAST
A national network benefits from eyes and feet on the ground representing the unique entertainment and art scenes in the areas members live and express their talents. Our way of keeping a finger on the pulse of members’ needs is to have CAMP authorized cell groups in cities coast to coast. These chapters serve as go to connection points keeping everyone in sync with national operations on a regular basis.
The CAMP cells will have team leaders that work with the members living in their area. These are the people that will be working with the central office to coordinate live CAMP events in their local scenes, as well as schedule meeting for feedback, updates and more.
TOURING & APPEARANCES
It’s important to note that tour guidelines presented here represent operating standards that will take effect after the first 2012 Meet & Greet Beta Tour this spring/summer. However the full scale tours and appearances to follow will have the benefit of the beta tours hindsight and will have any snags better worked out to conform to theses future operating standards.
As an added bonus the CAMP will be provide qualifying members with local, regional, national and virtual touring opportunities as well as appearances via CAMP chapters coast to coast. By taking advantage of these interactive live events, we get to display in the truest sense what it means to be an “indie nation network.”
To illustrate the benefits of appearances, touring, artists’ showcases etc. via membership in the CAMP versus doing it at one’s own personal expense, we have put together the following comparison chart:

As indicated above there are multiple touring/promo-appearance levels members can qualify for. Which option applies to specific members is determined by the following guidelines:
Gold Member Status
To qualify for the CAMP Fest national tour circuit, members must be at Gold Member status. Gold members are current on dues, their monthly purchases and are in the CAMP top 20 for recruitment of fellow artists to the CAMP at the end of a calendar quarter. Additionally, Gold Member products and services have to be at industry production and retail standards to qualify for this level. Finally, the minimum number of new members a group or solo member needs to qualify for gold status is 75 in a quarter or a 3 month period. The following example shows how the 75 new members in a quarter can happen:
Member Scorp Nightfire introduces 15 new members to the CAMP in January, 30 new members in February and another 30 in March. Scorp now qualifies to be a headliner on the national tour taking place in either June of the following quarter or August of the quarter after that as a gold member. This same process is applicable to all the different levels of tour status.
Silver Member Status
To qualify for the CAMP Fest regional tour circuit, members must be at Silver Member status. Silver members are current on dues, their monthly purchases and are in the CAMP top 20 for recruitment of fellow artists to the CAMP at the end of a calendar quarter. Additionally, Silver Member products and services have to be at industry production and retail standards to qualify for this level. Finally, the minimum number of new members a group or solo member needs to qualify for Silver status is 60 in a quarter or a 3 month period.
Bronze Member Status
To qualify for the CAMP Fest virtual and local tour circuit, members must be at Bronze Member status. Bronze members are current on dues, their monthly purchases and are in the CAMP top 20 for recruitment of fellow artists to the CAMP at the end of a calendar quarter. Additionally, Bronze Member products and services have to be at industry production and retail standards to qualify for this level. Finally, the minimum number of new members a group or solo member needs to qualify for Bronze status is 30 in a quarter or a 3 month period.
The Wild Card Status
The Wild Card status will allow one group that qualified in each of the 3 categories above but was not selected to have a shot at being the Wild Card selection for national appearances on the CAMP fest circuit. However to really mix it up, two selections will be made from the general membership population with the only requirements being current on dues and purchases. So while working to build our community by reaching the Gold, Silver and Brass standards, the unpredictable long shot Wild Card status, can make anyone a national headliner meting and greeting other members while making new fans coast to coast
